Hi! I'm Dick Beardsley and welcome to the Grandma's Marathon web site. Grandma's Marathon is more than a 26.2-mile race – it’s a celebration of running, live entertainment, fabulous food and activities for the whole family.

On top of that, this world-class event highlights the best of what Duluth, Minnesota has to offer, including breathtaking scenery, unmatched hospitality and passionate community spirit.

The 33rd annual Grandma's Marathon is on Saturday, June 20, 2009, and believe me when I say this is a weekend festival that you and your family don’t want to miss! I will be there and I hope you will too!
